Dielectric Grease – 4 oz Brush-Top Jar
The transparent shield that keeps every connection firing strong
Flickering headlights, weak cranks, and random sensor codes often trace back to one culprit: moisture creeping into electrical contacts. A thin coat of dedicated dielectric grease creates an invisible, non-conductive barrier that locks acid fumes, salt spray, and road grime out of your wiring—no more white fuzz, no more voltage drop. Our 4 oz brush-top jar gives mechanics and DIYers a shop-sized supply of premium silicone dielectric compound that stays put from polar-vortex winters to blistering summer track days.
Why choose 4LifetimeLines™ dielectric grease over “one-grease-fits-all” pastes?
Most multipurpose greases melt at 350 °F, conduct electricity, or break down under battery acid. By design, our high-purity silicone dielectric grease:
-
Insulates up to 25 kV/mm—prevents arcing across spark-plug boots and coil-on-plug boots.
-
Resists -40 °F to 400 °F—won’t thin in July or harden in January.
-
Repels water, salt, and most chemicals—ideal for marine, off-road, and snow-belt vehicles.
-
Maintains rubber & plastic elasticity—no swelling of grommets or O-rings.
-
Sensor-safe—will not poison O2 sensors or affect air-fuel readings when applied correctly.
Bottom line: one coat today can save hours of chasing phantom misfires tomorrow.
What’s inside the jar
-
4 oz (118 mL) silicone dielectric grease—enough for hundreds of connectors.
-
Built-in brush applicator keeps workbenches clean and caps off tight—no misplaced lids.
Where dielectric grease makes the biggest difference
Application | Why it matters | Pro tip |
---|---|---|
Spark-plug boots & coils | Blocks ozone & water; stops misfires | Coat inside boot, not the terminal tip |
Battery terminals | Prevents acid vapor corrosion | Pair with our Battery Terminal Grease Kit for felt-washer protection |
Trailer-light connectors | Keeps 7-pin plugs rust-free | Reapply every seasonal change |
Fuse blades & relay pins | Stops oxidation on seldom-used circuits | Thin film only—avoid slathering |
Weather-pack & Deutsch plugs | Maintains IP-rated seals | Dab on rubber seal before assembly |
Three-step application (takes less than a minute)
-
Clean—Spray contact cleaner, then dry with compressed air.
-
Brush—Dip applicator and coat mating surfaces with a paper-thin film. A little goes a long way.
-
Assemble—Seat connector fully. Wipe excess from the exterior for a factory finish.

Use it on all my wiring applications (Home, Auto & electronics), I live by the beach and the salt air corrodes everything that does not have a protective barrier within days of it being exposed. Highly recommend this product for preventing corroding.
As advertised
Was looking for something water resistant for wiring on vehicles around the farm
I used this to reseal a Rule 3700 bilge pump I totally repaired. It is a silicone grease like you would expect. Used it on the 3 shaft seals, and 2 large housing rubber rings, and the grommet and the wires to slide into the grommet.
