5/16" PVF-Coated Steel Tubing Coil
The 4LifetimeLines® 25′ × 5/16″ PVF-Coated Steel Tubing Coil delivers factory-grade SAE J527 strength wrapped in a polyvinyl-fluoride barrier that seals out salt, moisture, and chemicals. Ideal for brake, fuel, or transmission hard-line runs, this universal-size coil offers corrosion protection up to 30× better than bare steel—without the premium cost of stainless tubing.
Key Benefits
Advanced Corrosion Defense: The PVF coating blocks road salt, winter brine, and grime to prevent pitting and rust over decades.
OEM-Level Rigidity: 5/16″ SAE J527 tubing maintains a firm, responsive pedal and leak-free performance under high pressure.
Hand-Bend Versatility: The durable coating flexes smoothly around tight bends without cracking or flaking—no special tooling required.
Cost-Effective Durability: Enjoy near-stainless longevity at a fraction of the price, perfect for fleet maintenance, shop inventory, or DIY projects.
Safety-Certified: Exceeds DOT and FMVSS 106 burst-pressure standards for street-legal, high-pressure applications.
Installation & Usage
Measure & Cut: Determine the exact length for your brake, fuel, or transmission run and trim the coil squarely.
Deburr: Remove any sharp edges from the cut end with a tubing reamer.
Route & Shape: Hand-bend the tubing through chassis brackets or hard-to-reach areas, preserving the PVF coating.
Flare & Connect: Create inverted or double flares using your flaring tool, then install SAE flange-nut fittings and torque to spec.
Secure & Inspect: Fasten lines with mounting clips, pressure-bleed or test the system, and verify there are no leaks.

Awesome
I love this stuff. Easy to bend and straighten. Buy it all the time.
sturdy well made line, the coating is nice and easy to bend into shape. Tight corners may kink but that's to be expected.
Seems to be working great. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is that I really dont know how to compare it to similar products. This is the first time Ive worked with steel brake line. In my case, Im actually using it for fuel line on a tractor, using compression fittings. Ive been cutting it with a pipe cutter - same type used on copper plumbing pipe - and that works good... leaves a nice square cut, although its always a good idea to deburr the ID and OD of the cut before fitting it up. The fittings go on fine - there doesnt seem to be any problem with fit due to the PVF coating. The coating stays on where Ive bent the tubing. Hopefully this will keep rust away and this fuel line will last the remaining life of the tractor.
I have an old Corvette that had rusty and leaking fuel lines. This product was perfect for replacing the old line. The PVF coating will prevent rust. I used a tubing bender and a flare tool and made a new fuel line.
