Tire Mounting Paste – Low-Friction Bead Lubricant (8 lb)

Glide every bead, protect every rim—no soap-suds, no squeals

Fighting a stubborn bead wastes minutes and risks gouging expensive alloy wheels. Our premium tire mounting paste turns tire changes into a one-hand, one-pop operation. The high-lubricity formula slashes friction as the bead slides over the rim lip, then flashes dry to lock the tire in place. No messy drips, no wheel-spin on the balancer, and zero residue to attack TPMS sensors.

Why tire mounting paste beats soapy water & aerosol sprays

Pain Point Soap Solution Tire Mounting Paste
Lubricity under load Foams out, dries fast Thick film stays slick until final seat
Rim protection High pH can etch alloy Neutral pH + anti-corrosion inhibitors
TPMS compatibility Surfactants coat sensor ports Sensor-safe, silicone-free formula
Shop efficiency Bucket spills, overspray waste Brush-on control, no floor puddles

Bottom line: less effort on the tire machine, fewer comebacks, happier techs.

What’s in the 8 lb pail

  • High-lubricity synthetic base – clings to beads for smooth mounting.

  • Rust inhibitors – shield bare-steel bead seats on truck rims.

  • Natural tackifiers – dry into a micro-grip layer that prevents bead-slip on spin balance.

  • Zero silicones or petroleum distillates – keeps TPMS seals and rubber compounds healthy.

One pail services roughly 600 passenger/light-truck tires—ideal for independent shops and mobile service vans.

Five instant benefits you’ll notice

  1. Effortless seating – Less arm strain; beads pop with minimal pedal pressure.

  2. No rim etching – Neutral pH guards clear-coated and machined-face wheels.

  3. Cleaner bay floors – Brush-on paste = no slippery soap puddles.

  4. Faster turnaround – Paste dries in ~60 seconds; wheel hits the balancer sooner.

  5. Rust protection – Inhibitors fight bead-seat corrosion in snow-belt climates.

How to apply tire mounting paste like a pro

  1. Prep the rim – Wire-brush old rubber or corrosion; wipe with a clean rag.

  2. Load the brush – Scoop a walnut-size dab; work it into the bristles.

  3. Coat the bead – Spread a thin, even film around the entire circumference of both beads.

  4. Mount – Position tire; cycle the mount/demount head. Notice the smooth glide.

  5. Seat & inflate – Paste flashes dry as the bead seats; check final pressure and balance.

Shop tip: In winter, warm the pail near the changer for easier brushing. Add a splash of warm water if the paste thickens—performance remains unchanged.

Works better than dish soap

Seams to help form a seal better when mounting smaller tires. Definitely works well.

better than liquid

tried using the liquid tire mounting lube and it seemed to dry out too quick(yes maybe I am just too slow). This seems to stay slippery much longer making it easy to deal with and less messy as well. Now the bad, my pail came as a fairly solid block, but that is easy enough to deal with as the product I got off seemed to work as described. update: got to use more of this paste and it works fantastic, just using a cheap chip paint brush to this goes on easy and worked really well. I tried using the liquid lube as well and this paste just worked soo much better. Even though it seems like a fairly solid block in the bucket it still is very workable. Awesome product.

It really works

Place a little around the bead of the tire and the mounting goes on and forms a seal just fine. I have not had a single tire brought back to me due to loosing the seal around the bead. The included applicator is a real bonus. I have not used it long enough to see if tires are stuck to the rim when dismounted from the rim or if any corrosion appears. For the price and the extreme number of tires I will be able to mount from this 8 lb bucket is well worth the price. If they had some way of being able to keep the lid on the container and the applicator seals the top where it goes through would be a time saver, but not a real killer to me. Just a nice thought. If it continues to give me this type performance, I will definitely get this same maker 4LifeTimeLines the next time. I also went ahead and wrote the date I started using it on the bucket so I can determine how long it lasts for future ordering reference.

Make tire work so much easier

My go to for mounting tires is a mixture of dish soap and water. This mounting paste works so much better! Tires go on and come off alot easier than without. It doesn't take very much - I have a brush that I use to apply the paste to the tire (some people do the rim too) and a little bit on the brush is all it takes. It's so slippery I don't know why it's called paste. It says to avoid freezing but it was frozen when I got it. After thawing for a couple of days and giving it a good stirring it works fine. The lid fits good - I cut a hole in the lid and made a circle from an old inner tube and attached it to the lid covering the circle, then cut a slit in it.... that's where the brush stays and the paste is still covered.
8 lbs of this product is enough to do many, many tire mounts. It really doesn't have any scent to it. It makes the job easier for me, saving time and effort and that's money in the bank!! Great quality product. I won't be going back to soap and water ever again. I'm that sold.
